Responsibilities:
Retail Strategy & Performance Leadership:
- Develop and execute the retail strategy to drive sales growth, customer loyalty, and brand visibility.
- Oversee retail store operations, ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and compliance with brand standards.
- Monitor sales performance, customer data, and market trends to inform decisions and improve results.
- Lead seasonal retail planning, promotions, and product launches in collaboration with the CEO.
Brand Experience & Customer Journey:
- Own the end-to-end customer experience across all touchpoints (in-store, wholesale, and brand interactions).
- Curate and guide product styles and collections in line with the brand’s identity and customer insights.
- working closely with the production team to ensure commercially viable, market-ready products that support sales performance.
- Ensure consistent brand expression in visual merchandising, service standards, and customer engagement.
- Set and monitor service quality standards, ensuring every customer interaction reflects the brand’s positioning.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing Hope Fashion professionally to key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Production Alignment & Delivery Oversight (Strategic):
- Overseeing day-to-day factory operations, factory staff management, and technical production matters.
- Provide strategic oversight and prioritisation for garment production through BK3 to ensure alignment with
Hope Fashion’s retail and wholesale needs:
- Translate retail priorities (collections, timelines, quality expectations) into clear production directives.
- Review production plans, delivery schedules, and output performance with the BK3 production & operations manager.
- Escalate production risks, delays, or quality concerns to the CEO only when they exceed agreed thresholds.
Team Leadership & Capability Building:
- Lead, coach, and develop retail teams to deliver strong performance and customer service excellence.
- Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for direct reports.
- Build a high-performance, customer-centric culture across retail operations.
- Partner with Group HR on recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Commercial & Stakeholder Management:
- Oversee wholesale relationships and key retail partnerships.
- Collaborate with finance to track retail margins, inventory turnover, and revenue performance.
- Provide regular performance reports and insights to the CEO.
- Work closely with Blings & Blangs and Fabric Printing Global (where relevant) to ensure cohesive brand output.
Decision Rights & Escalation Framework (Role Clarity):
- Owns retail strategy execution, brand experience standards, retail sales performance and production prioritisation for Hope Fashion
- Influences production timelines, delivery sequencing, quality expectations and brand standards
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in fashion retail, brand management, or luxury/lifestyle retail
- Proven leadership experience managing retail teams and store operations
- Strong understanding of ready-to-wear fashion production cycles
- Commercial mindset with ability to balance creativity and profitability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working closely with garment factories or production teams
- Background in premium or aspirational fashion brands
- Exposure to wholesale channels and multi-store operations

Remuneration: NGN500,000 - 600,000 Monthly
