Head of Operations
Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Operations to lead our operational functions and drive scalability as we grow. This role is responsible for optimizing processes, building high-performing teams, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting the company’s growth objectives in a highly regulated legal industry.

Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Strategy:
- Design, implement, and continuously improve company-wide operational processes, systems, and workflows to support rapid scaling.
- Develop and own key operational metrics (KPIs) related to efficiency, quality, cost, customer satisfaction, and reliability.
- Partner closely with the CEO, CTO, Product/Service, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align operations with business goals.
- Lead strategic initiatives such as platform scalability, international expansion, M&A integration, or new product launches.
Team & Organizational Management:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team, including functions such as IT/infrastructure, customer support, implementation/onboarding, facilities (if applicable), vendor management, and business intelligence.
- Collaborate with People/HR to develop talent strategies, organizational design, and culture initiatives.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and effective project/program management across the organization.
Compliance Security & Risk Management:
- Ensure all operations meet stringent legal, data privacy, and security standards (GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA if applicable, and legal-industry specific regulations).
- Oversee information security, data governance, and risk management programs in close partnership with the CISO or security team.
- Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Efficiency & Technology:
- Identify and implement operational tools and automation to reduce manual work and improve margins.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement to optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Work closely with Software/product development to oversee SaaS operations, cloud infrastructure costs, and performance.
Financial & Performance Management:
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for operational expenses.
- Drive cost optimization and resource allocation initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports for the executive team and board on operational health and activities performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of BSC
- 5 years of previous experience in a similar role
