Job summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Head of Operations to oversee and optimize the daily operations of a leading company specializing in the sales, supply, and distribution of residential and commercial tiles, doors, and sanitary accessories

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the company's day-to-day operational activities.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage inventory, warehousing, logistics, and distribution processes.
  • Ensure accurate stock control, inventory reconciliation, and timely product availability.
  • Lead and supervise operational teams, ensuring high performance and accountability.
  • Develop and improve operational processes, policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and prepare performance reports for management.
  • Collaborate with sales, procurement, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Drive cost optimization while maintaining excellent service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 –10 years of operations experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience within the building materials, construction materials, manufacturing, distribution, or wholesale industry is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing inventory, warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain processes.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP or inventory management systems is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal supervision.


Remuneration: NGN 700,000 – 900,000 Monthly


Location: Amuwo Odofin, Lagos
