An HR Manager develops and implements strategies and systems to monitor, evaluate, and improve employee performance, aligning individual and team efforts with organizational goals.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on people-related matters
  • Drive initiatives to support company culture, diversity & inclusion, and employee engagement
  • Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, and succession planning
  • Oversee performance management systems to drive a high-performance culture
  • Identify and develop training programs to support employee growth and leadership development
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, HR policies, and best practices
  • Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and grievance management
  • Design and oversee compensation structures and benefits programs
  • Benchmark salary data and review total rewards strategy regularly
  • Oversee HR policies, procedures, and systems (HRIS, payroll coordination, etc.)
  • Ensure efficient administration of employee data and records
  • Monitor HR metrics and report on HR performance to senior management
  • Lead change management initiatives to support organizational growth and transformation
  • Champion new HR technologies, systems, and processes


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and compliance
  • Experience in scaling HR functions in growing or dynamic environments
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels
  • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) are an advantage


Location: Lekki 


Remuneration: NGN 20 Million Per Annum
