The Head of Finance is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership by ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting and forecasting, strong internal controls, efficient cash flow management, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's overall business objectives.
- Provide financial advice and strategic recommendations to executive management.
- Lead the Finance department and oversee all accounting and finance operations.
- Develop financial policies, systems, and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Support long-term business planning, investment decisions, and growth initiatives.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor departmental budgets and provide variance analysis.
- Ensure effective financial planning to support operational and strategic objectives.
- Recommend cost optimization initiatives without compromising operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Produce management accounts and performance reports for executive decision-making.
- Ensure timely preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Oversee product costing and manufacturing cost analysis.
- Monitor production costs, overhead allocation, and inventory valuation.
- Develop strategies to improve production efficiency and profitability.
- Analyze material usage, waste, and operational costs.
- Work closely with Production and Operations teams to improve cost control.
- Manage cash flow to ensure business liquidity.
- Monitor banking relationships and financing arrangements.
- Optimize working capital and cash utilization.
- Oversee payment approvals and treasury operations.
- Develop cash flow forecasts and funding strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong internal control systems.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and statutory obligations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Implement fraud prevention and risk management measures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Oversee inventory accounting and reconciliation.
- Monitor stock valuation and inventory controls.
- Ensure proper accounting for fixed assets and depreciation.
- Conduct periodic asset verification and inventory audits.
- Ensure timely filing and payment of VAT, PAYE, Company Income Tax, WHT, Pension, NSITF, ITF, and other statutory obligations.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A master's degree or MBA will be an added advantage.
- Professional qualifications such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent are mandatory.
- Minimum of 8–10 years' progressive finance experience, with at least 4 years in a senior finance leadership role.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within ceramics, building materials, FMCG, industrial manufacturing, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, and inventory management.
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
Location: Amodu Odofin.
Remuneration: 850,000-1,200,000
