A reputable and fast-growing Microfinance Bank based in Abuja is seeking to recruit an experienced and results-driven Head of E-Business to lead its Digital Banking and E-Business function. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a professional with a proven track record in digital banking, product innovation, digital transformation, and business growth within the financial services industry.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Bank's digital banking and e-business strategy.
- Drive growth across Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, USSD, Agency Banking, POS, Card Services, and other digital channels.
- Increase digital adoption, customer acquisition, transaction volumes, and revenue generation.
- Develop innovative digital financial products and services.
- Build strategic partnerships with fintech companies and technology providers.
- Ensure compliance with CBN, NIBSS, NDPC, and other regulatory requirements.
- Monitor digital channel performance and business metrics.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across the Bank.
- Build and lead a high-performing E-Business team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless digital banking services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A Master's Degree is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CIBN, PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, COBIT, ITIL, CISSP, CISA, or other relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years' progressive experience within the banking or financial services industry.
- At least 4 years in a senior Digital Banking, E-Business, Electronic Banking, FinTech, or Product Management leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of digital banking operations, payment systems, agency banking, cards, switching, APIs, fintech ecosystems, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong commercial, leadership, analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
