Job summary
Our client, an investment and lending firm, is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to oversee accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide financial support for business growth.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with IFRS
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Oversee loan portfolio accounting, including disbursements, repayments, and provisions
- Ensure accurate transaction processing, reconciliations, and timely financial close
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and internal controls
- Work with Risk and Business teams to manage financial risks
- Provide financial analysis and insights for decision-making
- Manage audits and relationships with auditors, regulators, and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s is an advantage)
- Professional certification: ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial regulations, and lending operations
- Experience with accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, or similar
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
