Role Title: Head, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce (Global / Multi-Market FMCG)
Location: Lagos, Nigeria.
Role Overview
The Head, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce will lead the development and execution of integrated brand, digital, and e-commerce strategies across multiple markets.
This role is suited for a senior, strategic marketing leader with proven experience driving large-scale brand campaigns, digital transformation, and multi-country marketing initiatives within structured, high-growth consumer environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand & Integrated Campaign Leadership
- Lead the design and execution of end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns (digital + offline) across multiple markets
- Drive brand positioning, storytelling, and consumer engagement strategies
- Own campaign strategy from insight to execution to performance evaluation
- Ensure consistency of brand messaging across regions while allowing for local adaptation
2. Multi-Market / International Marketing
- Develop and implement multi-country marketing strategies across Africa and/or other international regions
- Lead or contribute to regional or global brand campaigns
- Translate global brand strategies into local market success
- Leverage international insights and trends to drive innovation and competitiveness
3. Digital Marketing Strategy & Performance
- Own the overall digital marketing strategy, including paid media, SEO/SEM, social, content, and CRM
- Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies
- Use data and analytics to optimize campaign performance and ROI
- Champion digital innovation and adoption of emerging marketing technologies
4. E-Commerce Strategy & Growth
- Lead the e-commerce agenda across D2C platforms and third-party marketplaces
- Optimize online customer journeys and conversion funnels
- Drive revenue growth through data-led merchandising, promotions, and user experience improvements
- Ensure alignment between e-commerce, sales, and distribution strategies
5. Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with executive leadership on long-term brand and growth strategy
- Lead and develop a high-performing, cross-functional marketing team
- Manage external agencies and partners to deliver best-in-class campaigns
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, product, and operations.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 6–10years’ experience in Brand, Marketing, or Digital Marketing roles
- Strong, demonstrable experience in brand marketing and integrated campaign strategy (non-negotiable)
- Proven track record of leading multi-market / cross-border campaigns
- Experience in e-commerce growth and digital transformation initiatives
- Background working in multinational or highly structured organizations
