We seek an experienced Head of Corporate Finance to lead our investment banking business, originate and execute high-value transactions, drive business growth, strengthen client relationships, and deliver innovative financial advisory solutions that create lasting value for clients and the firm.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Transaction Execution: Leading the end-to-end process for mergers, acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, and private placements. This includes due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiating terms (e.g., Share Purchase Agreements).
- Capital Raising & Advisory: Advising companies on optimal capital structures (balancing debt vs. equity). This includes supporting IPOs, bond issuances, and rights issues to meet regulatory requirements (such as SEC capitalisation deadlines).
- Financial Modelling & Valuation: Developing complex models to project cash flows, determine business valuations, and assess the Return on Investment (ROI) for strategic projects or potential acquisitions.
- Strategic Planning: Providing data-driven insights to leadership to influence long-term growth, budgeting, and performance management. Applying frameworks like SWOT or PESTLE analysis to market-specific opportunities.
- Investor Relations & Reporting: Preparing pitch books, information memoranda, and board packs. The candidate must maintain transparency with stakeholders, auditors, and regulators (like the SEC, CBN, or NDIC).
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of BSC
- 5 years of previous experience in a similar role
