Job Summary
We are looking for a representative who will be head of the Business Development department and will be responsible for implementing strategic and tactical business development plans to support the organization’s growth and expansion.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Understand insurance products, benefits, and value propositions.
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical business development plans to support the organization’s growth and expansion.
- Research and identify market trends, opportunities, and potential partners in the industry.
- Conduct sales forecasts and analysis and create sale pipelines.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow and retain existing portfolios and relationships, including identifying key opportunities, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Use customer feedback and insights to design new insurance products/bundles or uncover methods to enhance client service for existing customers.
- Maintain a strong, positive relationship with existing partners and customers.
- Monitor and report on regulatory concerns, competitors, market trends, and changing customer needs.
- Participate in various business development activities such as training, meetings, conferences, and networking events.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or related field.
- An experienced sales leader, and consultative seller and have a proven track record of success in the insurance industry with a minimum of 3+ years of business development experience.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing business development strategies and achieving business goals.
- Able to lead a team and work collaboratively with other units within the organization.
- Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders.
- Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes.
- Working knowledge of processing tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and any other industry-related software.
Location: Yaba, Lagos.
Remuneration: NGN 650,000 - NGN 800,000
