Job Summary

We are looking for a representative who will be head of the Business Development department and will be responsible for implementing strategic and tactical business development plans to support the organization’s growth and expansion.

  • Minimum Qualification : MBA / MSc
  • Experience Level : Senior level
  • Experience Length : 6 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Understand insurance products, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Develop and implement strategic and tactical business development plans to support the organization’s growth and expansion.
  • Research and identify market trends, opportunities, and potential partners in the industry.
  • Conduct sales forecasts and analysis and create sale pipelines.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow and retain existing portfolios and relationships, including identifying key opportunities, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Use customer feedback and insights to design new insurance products/bundles or uncover methods to enhance client service for existing customers.
  • Maintain a strong, positive relationship with existing partners and customers.
  • Monitor and report on regulatory concerns, competitors, market trends, and changing customer needs.
  • Participate in various business development activities such as training, meetings, conferences, and networking events.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • An experienced sales leader, and consultative seller and have a proven track record of success in the insurance industry with a minimum of 3+ years of business development experience.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing business development strategies and achieving business goals.
  • Able to lead a team and work collaboratively with other units within the organization.
  • Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders.
  • Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes.
  • Working knowledge of processing tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and any other industry-related software.



Location: Yaba, Lagos.


Remuneration: NGN 650,000 - NGN 800,000
