Hair Stylist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their hair needs, preferences, and lifestyle.
• Provide personalized advice on haircuts, styles, and colour options that best suit the individual while adhering to the brand standards.
• Demonstrate exceptional cutting and styling techniques, staying up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry.
• Create a variety of hairstyles to cater to diverse clientele, from classic cuts to modern, edgy looks.
• Ensure proper application and colour selection to achieve desired results while maintaining hair health and integrity.
• Offer a range of hair treatments, including deep conditioning, keratin, and scalp treatments.
• Analyse clients' hair condition to recommend the most suitable treatments and products to improve hair health and appearance.
• Expertly install and maintain hair extensions and hairpieces.
• Educate clients on proper care and maintenance to prolong the lifespan of their investment.
• Provide hair styling services for special occasions such as proms and other events.
• Collaborate with clients to create customized, memorable looks that align with their vision and personal style.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the salon's product offerings and the brand's product lines.
• Recommend appropriate products to clients based on their individual hair needs and promote the brand effectively.
• Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
• Address concerns, answer questions, and ensure a comfortable and enjoyable salon experience for each client.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and salon management to create a positive work environment.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior stylists, sharing expertise and best practices to support their growth and development.
• Stay informed on the latest hair and beauty industry developments, trends, and techniques.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance technical skills, as well as the brand's reputation for excellence.
• Perform any additional duties, tasks, or responsibilities as required or assigned by the brand management to ensure the overall success of the brand.
• Adapt to the changing needs of the brand environment and clientele, maintaining flexibility and a proactive attitude to contribute to the brand's growth and the brand's reputation for excellence.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience
• SSCE Certificate is required
