Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their hair care and styling needs
- Wash, cut, style, braid, relax, treat, color, and maintain hair as required
- Recommend suitable hairstyles and hair care treatments to clients
- Apply hair treatments and products safely and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, tools, and equipment
- Keep up with current hair trends, techniques, and beauty industry developments
- Ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction
- Manage appointments and maintain client records when necessary
- Promote salon products and services to clients
- Adhere to salon policies, safety standards, and hygiene regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE qualification
- Professional hair styling training or certification is an advantage
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, or Beautician
- Strong knowledge of hair care, styling, and treatment techniques
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced salon environment
