Gym / Swimming Pool Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily operations of the gym and swimming pool.
• Guide guests on the safe and proper use of gym equipment.
• Conduct basic fitness assessments and recommend suitable workout routines.
• Teach and supervise swimming sessions where required.
• Ensure compliance with all gym and pool safety regulations.
• Monitor the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the gym and swimming pool areas.
• Report faulty equipment or maintenance issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond professionally to guests’ enquiries.
• Administer basic first aid or emergency response when necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of OND or a relevant fitness certification.
• Previous experience as a Gym Instructor, Swimming Instructor, or Fitness Trainer is required.
• Good knowledge of fitness training principles and swimming techniques.
• Ability to operate and maintain gym equipment safely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be physically fit, disciplined, and customer-oriented.
• CPR and First Aid certification will be an added advantage.
• Experience working in a hotel, gym, or recreational facility is preferred.

Remuneration: NGN 80,000 – 100,000 per month
