Job summary
Responsible for providing exceptional, personalised guest service in a luxury cinema environment, ensuring guests receive a seamless, comfortable, and premium experience from arrival through departure. The role involves welcoming guests, attending to their needs, providing assistance, and maintaining the cinema’s high standards of hospitality
Job descriptions & requirements
- Welcome and warmly receive guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
- Assist guests with ticket verification, seating arrangements, showtimes, and general cinema enquiries.
- Provide personalised assistance to guests throughout their visit and anticipate their needs where possible.
- Escort guests to their seats and provide information about available cinema facilities and services.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Liaise with relevant departments to address guest needs and resolve service-related issues.
- Maintain a high standard of personal grooming, professional appearance, and courteous conduct at all times.
- Monitor guest areas to ensure cleanliness, comfort, orderliness, and overall presentation.
- Assist with food and beverage service where required, ensuring accurate and prompt service
- Monitor auditoriums and guest areas and promptly report maintenance, safety, or operational issues.
- Support the smooth coordination of guest entry, seating, and exit during busy periods.
- Ensure that VIP and premium guests receive appropriate attention and service.
- Follow all cinema, customer service, HSE, security, and operational procedures.
- Record and escalate recurring guest complaints or service issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when handling guest information.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Guest Services Manager or relevant supervisor.
Requirements:
- OND or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in guest services, hospitality, customer service, luxury retail, hotels, restaurants, airlines, or a similar customer-facing environment.
- Previous experience in a luxury or premium hospitality environment is an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant, confident, courteous, and professional demeanour.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult guests or complaints.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs.
- Good problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good knowledge of customer service principles and hospitality standards.
- Well-groomed and able to consistently maintain a professional appearance.
