Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new clients, business opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
  • Drive client acquisition through outreach, partnerships, and relationship building.
  • Conduct outreach via email, calls, meetings, and referrals
  • Own sales conversations from first contact to close.
  • Pitch Onyx’s services to brands, businesses, and organizations.
  • Build and manage client relationships.
  • Negotiate pricing, scope, and timelines.
  • Work towards monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Position Onyx’s creative work as commercial offerings.
  • Collaborate with the content team to support marketing and sales efforts
  • Manage and guide the content producer to support growth.
  • Track leads, conversations, sales activities, and outcomes.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or marketing
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple sales conversations
  • Comfortable working towards targets and deadlines
  • Organised, proactive, and self-motivated

Nice to Have:

  • Experience selling services or working with creative agencies
  • Understanding of branding, media, or content services
