Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing and growth plans aligned with business goals
  • Manage digital marketing (social media, content, paid ads, SEO)
  • Create and run campaigns targeting SMEs, enterprises, and individual senders
  • Track and report on growth metrics (acquisition, conversion, retention)
  • Build and maintain IMATA’s brand presence in Enugu and the South-East
  • Support partnerships, collaborations, and community initiatives
  • Produce content (copy, visuals, videos) for marketing channels
  • Test and optimise campaigns for cost and performance
  • Work with operations and leadership on go-to-market and promotions
  • Stay updated on logistics and local market trends


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Minimum of a BSc.
  • Marketplace Growth Strategy:  Experience growing two-sided platforms (supply & demand balancing)
  • B2B Customer Acquisition: Proven ability to acquire and activate SMEs through structured outreach and partnerships
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills, able to track CAC, LTV activation, retention, and funnel performance
  • Performance Marketing Execution: Hands-on experience running and optimizing paid campaigns (Meta, Google, retargeting)
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) : Ability to improve landing pages, onboarding flows, and activation rates
  • Growth Experimentation & A/B Testing: Comfortable running structured growth experiments and measuring impact
  • Brand & Trust Positioning: Ability to position a logistics/fintech platform as secure, reliable, and enterprise-grade
  • CRM & Pipeline Management: Experience managing sales funnels
  • lead scoring, and enterprise onboarding processes
  • Retention & Lifecycle Marketing:  Strategies to reduce churn and increase shipment frequency and wallet usage.
  • Local Market Intelligence: Strong understanding of SME behaviour.
