Job Summary

The Group HR Manager will provide strategic HR leadership for the entire Vixa Group, overseeing people, culture, and organizational development across multiple business units (FMCG, pharmaceuticals, and other subsidiaries). This is a senior-level role requiring a strong strategist who can lead multi-location HR operations and workforce growth.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead HR strategies that align with the Group’s overall business objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment, talent acquisition, and succession planning for multiple business units.
  • Lead group-wide performance management and employee development initiatives.
  • Standardize HR policies, procedures, and compliance across all subsidiaries.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws, regulatory standards, and organizational policies.
  • Manage disciplinary processes, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee culture development, employee engagement, and change management across the Group.
  • Provide advisory support to Group Executives, Heads of Department, and Business Managers.
  • Lead HR data analytics, reporting, documentation, and HRIS management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR operations, organizational structure, and workforce planning.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years’ HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR or managerial role
  • HR Certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, etc.) is mandatory or a major advantage.
  • Experience working in FMCG and/or pharmaceutical companies is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of labor law, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead HR operations in a multi-company/group structure.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and strong people-management capabilities
