Group General Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group's businesses, ensuring effective coordination, clear reporting lines and consistent performance.
• Translate the owner's vision into practical business plans, operational targets and growth strategies.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, expenditure, profitability and financial controls in collaboration with the relevant finance personnel.
• Identify opportunities to grow revenue, expand market reach, strengthen partnerships and improve competitiveness across the group's interests.
• Recruit, lead and supervise management teams and other employees, establishing clear responsibilities, performance targets and accountability.
• Establish appropriate policies, reporting procedures and internal controls to protect company assets and reduce operational risks.
• Management Reporting: Provide regular reports on performance, challenges, financial position and strategic recommendations to the business owner.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. Relevant professional qualifications or an MBA will be an advantage.
• At least 5 –10 years of relevant professional experience, including substantial experience in senior management or business operations.
• Demonstrable experience managing multiple departments, business units or diverse commercial operations.
• Experience in real estate, construction, manufacturing, FMCG or other commercially demanding sectors is desirable.
