Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. These reports are used for both internal management purposes and external reporting requirements.
  • Calculate and prepare tax returns for individuals or organizations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing financial data to predict future revenues and expenses.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, perform cost-benefit analysis, and provide advice on financial planning and risk management.
  • Conduct or assist in audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations, identifying and addressing discrepancies.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP), Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in handling numbers and financial details to ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for explaining financial information to non-financial individuals.
