Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Graphic Design Instructor based in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The Graphic Design Instructor will be responsible for teaching students practical and theoretical aspects of graphic design, including branding, typography, and visual communication. The instructor will develop lesson plans, provide hands-on training, and guide students through real-world projects to ensure they acquire relevant skills. They will also evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Graphics and Graphic Design
• Proficiency in Visual Communication, including the ability to communicate design concepts effectively
• Knowledge of Web Design and Typography principles
• Ability to create engaging and practical lesson plans tailored to various learning styles
• Strong communication and mentorship skills, with a passion for teaching and developing talent
• Proficiency with graphic design software such as CorelDRAW. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other industry-relevant tools
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience is an advantage
