  • Develop compelling narratives that clearly communicate organizational impact and value proposition
  • Translate technical content into donor-friendly language while maintaining accuracy and compliance
  • Coordinate inputs from technical, finance and operations teams to develop complete submissions

4. Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor proposal performance metrics and recommend improvements to increase funding success rates
  • Maintain a repository of proposal templates, donor requirements, organizational documents, and successful submissions
  • Document lessons learned and best practices from funded and unsuccessful applications
  • Contribute to strengthening grant development processes, tools, and systems across the organization

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 4 – 6 years of experience in grant writing and business development within the development or public health sector
  • Proven track record of winning grants from major donors (e.g., Gates Foundation, FCDO, Global Fund, UNICEF), or evidence of leading proposals that won or advanced to the final stage of consideration
