Responsibilities:
- Support daily reconciliation of operational, settlement, and wallet accounts under supervision.
- Assist in monitoring liquidity and cash positions, and in preparing cash flow reports.
- Learn and support treasury operations, including fund transfers, payment processing, and settlements.
- Help investigate reconciliation discrepancies and document findings for review.
- Support preparation of periodic treasury, liquidity, and reconciliation reports.
- Assist with maintaining accurate accounting records and general ledger entries.
- Support month-end and half-year closing activities as directed.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Undertake other duties and rotational assignments as assigned during the training programme.
Requirement:
- Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience; NYSC corps members and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with close attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- High learning agility, integrity, and willingness to work within a structured, fast-paced fintech environment.
- Professional certification in progress (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an advantage but not required.
