German Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Teach German language courses, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills.
  
• Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to students' language proficiency levels.
• Develop and administer assignments, quizzes, and exams to track student progress.
• Foster an interactive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
• Use a variety of teaching techniques, including multimedia tools and real-life scenarios, to enhance learning.
• Encourage students to practice speaking German through conversational exercises.
• Provide individualized support to students and offer constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Organize cultural lessons and activities that introduce students to German traditions and customs.
• Stay updated on new trends in language education and incorporate them into your teaching.
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure consistent progress and maintain high educational standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a BSc. degree in German, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
  
• 1-2 years of experience teaching German at primary, secondary, or tertiary levels.
• Strong command of the German language, both oral and written.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to design and implement engaging lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Familiarity with educational technologies and modern teaching methods.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for language teaching.
• Knowledge of German culture and the ability to integrate cultural elements into lessons.
• Teaching certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Flexibility to work part-time with a variable schedule.

Remuneration: NGN 60,000- NGN 70,000
