Job summary
Our client, a growing professional services and business solutions company, is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and results-driven General Manager to provide strategic, commercial, and operational leadership.

Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic, commercial, and operational leadership, working closely with the Board to implement the company's vision, business plans, and growth objectives.
- Develop and execute business development, sales, and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, client acquisition, partnerships, and market expansion.
- Lead investment portfolio management activities, including opportunity identification, due diligence, performance monitoring, risk management, and partnership structuring.
- Design and grow entrepreneurship programs, enterprise support services, and commercially viable business initiatives and partnerships.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the successful delivery of consulting, recruitment, training, investment, and project management assignments within budget and quality standards.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, profitability management, financial reporting, and compliance with statutory and governance requirements.
- Manage and develop employees, consultants, and project teams, fostering a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, partners, regulators, and other stakeholders while ensuring effective governance, risk management, compliance, and protection of the company's assets and reputation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, Human Resources, Project Management, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- MBA, a master's degree, or professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8–12 years of professional experience, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in business development, professional services, consulting, recruitment, project management, investment management, or entrepreneurship development.
- Strong leadership, commercial, financial, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of the Nigerian business environment, particularly the South-South region.
