General Manager

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:

• Develop and execute business strategies across all subsidiaries
• Identify new business opportunities in construction, marine, and oil & gas sectors
• Drive revenue growth and market expansion

Operations Oversight:

• Oversee equipment leasing operations (e.g., excavators, transport equipment)
• Supervise marine operations, including dredging projects
• Ensure efficient execution of engineering and procurement services

Financial Management:

• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives
• Monitor financial performance and ensure profitability
• Approve major expenditures and investments

Team & Performance Management:

• Lead and manage senior managers and departmental heads
• Establish performance targets and monitor execution
• Build a high-performance and accountable workforce

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Maintain relationships with key clients in construction and oil & gas sectors
• Represent the company in high-level negotiations and partnerships
• Ensure client satisfaction and retention'

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and safety standards
• Manage operational risks across all business units

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (MBA is an advantage)
• Minimum of 8–12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong experience in construction, marine, or oil & gas sectors
• Proven track record in business growth and operations management

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers State
Remuneration: NGN 900,000
