Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Assign tasks to production workers and monitor their performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are maintained.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees.
- Train new employees on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the production planning team to schedule production activities and optimize resource utilization.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and address any maintenance or repair needs.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports on key performance indicators such as production output, quality metrics, and inventory levels.
- Resolve any production-related issues or conflicts that may arise in a timely and effective manner.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among production staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum HND
- 4 years of previous experience in a similar role
