Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Review business and functional requirements to develop appropriate test scenarios.
- Create and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, track, and retest software defects.
- Verify that applications meet specified business and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA team members.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify unexpected issues and usability problems.
- Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing results to stakeholders.
- Participate in requirements reviews and contribute to overall quality assurance activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Manual Tester, QA Tester, or Functional Tester.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
- Experience with defect management and test management tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, documentation, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices is an advantage.
