Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications and software solutions.
  
• Develop user-friendly front-end interfaces using appropriate technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
  
• Build, maintain, and optimise back-end systems, server-side applications, and business logic.
  
• Design, manage, and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient performance.
  
• Develop, integrate, and maintain APIs to support communication between applications and third-party services.
  
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, bugs, and system performance problems.
  
• Implement appropriate security measures to protect applications, databases, and user information.
  
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to translate business requirements into functional software solutions.
  
• Conduct software testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure application quality and reliability.
  
• Optimise application performance, scalability, and responsiveness across different devices and platforms.
  
• Manage application deployment, updates, and maintenance across development, testing, and production environments.
  
• Use version control systems such as Git to manage source code and support team collaboration.
  
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, databases, and development processes.
  
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, development tools, and industry best practices to improve software delivery.
  
• Provide technical support and implement improvements based on user feedback and business needs.

Requirements:

• HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar software development role.
  
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  
• Proficiency in back-end programming languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, or .NET.
  
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server.
  
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and web services.
  
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
  
• Understanding of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and application architecture.
  
• Knowledge of application security, authentication, authorisation, and data protection practices.
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, deployment processes, and CI/CD tools is an advantage.
