Fulfillment Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the end-to-end fulfilment of customer orders, from receipt and processing to picking, packing, and dispatch.  
• Receive and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders, waybills, delivery notes, and other supporting documents. 
• Ensure products are properly labelled, stored, picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch according to customer requirements. 
• Update inventory movements and order statuses accurately and promptly on the relevant systems and operational dashboards. 
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with system records, reporting discrepancies promptly. 
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Order Management, Fleet, and Customer Support teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment. 
• Monitor pending orders and promptly resolve or escalate stock shortages, damaged items, incorrect orders, delayed processing, and other exceptions. 
• Maintain proper documentation for inventory received, orders processed, goods dispatched, returns, and damaged items. 
• Process returns and ensure returned items are inspected, recorded, and stored or escalated appropriately. 
• Ensure fulfilment activities comply with established operating procedures, safety standards, quality requirements, and client service agreements. 
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on order volumes, fulfilment accuracy, turnaround time, inventory variances, returns, damages, and outstanding issues.   

Requirements:

• A BA/BSc, HND, OND, or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.  
• At least four years of relevant experience in fulfilment, warehousing, inventory management, e-commerce operations, or logistics. 
• Good understanding of receiving, inventory storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and return processes. 
• Experience using warehouse management systems, inventory platforms, order management systems, or operational dashboards. 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy and proper product handling. 
• Ability to reconcile physical inventory with system records and investigate discrepancies. 
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to process multiple orders accurately and meet fulfilment deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
• Good written and verbal communication skills. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other relevant technology platforms. 
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and respond promptly to operational issues. 
• Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts based on operational requirements. 
• A reliable, accountable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused approach to work.
