Job summary
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Officer to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front office operations, handling inquiries, maintaining a welcoming environment, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and attend to visitors, clients, and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls appropriately.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and courier deliveries.
- Maintain the reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.
- Maintain visitor logs and ensure compliance with security and sign-in procedures.
- Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, photocopying, and document management.
- Coordinate office supplies and monitor inventory levels.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Front Desk, Receptionist, Customer Service, or Administrative role.
- Minimum of an OND in any discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Must be available for immediate resumption.
Preferred Requirements:
- Strong telephone etiquette.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of office administration procedures.
