Job summary
The Front Desk Officer serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and guests. The role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front office operations, handling inquiries, directing visitors, and ensuring the reception area is organized and welcoming.

Responsibilities:
- Welcome and attend to visitors, clients, and guests in a professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
- Respond to inquiries and provide accurate information about the organization's services.
- Manage appointments, schedules, and meeting room bookings.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, documents, and deliveries.
- Maintain visitor logs and ensure proper sign-in procedures.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying, scanning, and document preparation.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Monitor office supplies and request replenishment when required.
- Ensure confidentiality of company and client information.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND in Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Officer, Receptionist, or Customer Service Representative is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
