Front Desk Officer
Job summary
We are seeking a professional, organized, and friendly Front Desk / Administrative Officer at our Lekki Phase 1 office to serve as the first point of contact for our company. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, supporting day-to-day administrative tasks, and ensuring a welcoming and well-organized office environment.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors,
clients, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and
messages; direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain the front desk area to
ensure it is tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Provide general administrative
support, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings
and support internal meetings when required.
- Receive, log, and distribute
incoming mail and deliveries.
- Assist with office supplies
management and vendor coordination.
- Support HR and Operations with
basic administrative tasks such as onboarding logistics, record keeping, and
scheduling.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, or administrative role is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or
Google Workspace (Word, Excel, Email).
- Ability to handle confidential
information with discretion.
- Well-presented, punctual, and reliable.
- Customer service orientation
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of office administration procedures
- Proximity to Lekki Phase 1 is important
