Role Description

This is a volunteer hybrid role for a Football Coach at GlorylightFC in Ikorodu, with flexibility for some remote work. The Football Coach will be responsible for planning and leading training sessions, mentoring players to enhance their technical and tactical skills, and fostering a positive team environment. The role also includes providing guidance on sportsmanship, discipline, and personal development, aligning with the academy’s vision for holistic growth.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency and experience in Football Coaching and general Coaching
• In-depth knowledge and skill in Football and player development strategies
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with players and staff
• Proven ability to lead Training sessions and implement effective coaching methodologies
• A passion for mentoring young athletes and encouraging personal and professional growth
• Commitment to upholding the values of integrity, excellence, and positive character development
• Prior experience in a coaching or mentorship role is highly desirable
• Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications are an advantage
