Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of food processing shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient production flow
• Ensure all production output meets established quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment at all times
• Plan, coordinate, and manage shift schedules and handovers
• Monitor and optimize the utilization of personnel and production resources
• Evaluate and report on employee performance, providing coaching and feedback as needed
• Enforce and uphold the organization's standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Identify and monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) throughout the production process

Requirements:

• Proven ability to communicate and disseminate information clearly and effectively across all levels of staff
• Working knowledge of utilities and basic technical systems relevant to food processing operations
• Solid understanding of HACCP principles, including the ability to identify and manage CCPs in a production environment
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams under time-sensitive conditions
• Experience in a food processing or manufacturing supervisory role is an asset
