Job summary
A detail-oriented Bakery Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of cleanliness, maintain product quality, and enforce company policies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, monitoring hygiene practices, ensuring consistency in production, and maintaining discipline across all bakery activities.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Hygiene Control:
- Ensure daily cleaning schedules are followed (before opening, during shift, closing)
- Enforce hygiene standards (uniforms, hairnets, handwashing)
- Do spot checks throughout the day—not just once
Quality Assurance:
- Check product consistency (taste, size, presentation)
- Ensure recipes and measurements are strictly followed
- Monitor storage (expiry dates, FIFO method)
Staff Discipline & Rule Enforcement:
- Enforce punctuality and attendance
- Ensure staff follow company policies
- Report misconduct and recommend actions
Daily Reporting:
- Give you a short daily report: Staff performance, Issues observed, Actions taken
Requirements:
- No experience needed
- Minimum of SSCE
