Flight Dispatch Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Producing and maintaining an up-to-date Training Needs Analysis for all approved Flight Dispatcher Training.
• Approving the initial issue and any subsequent changes to the training course material, notes, electronic presentation, lesson plans, study guides and examinations which are current to reflect relevant Regulations and industry best practice as required for Flight Dispatcher Training courses.
• Actively demonstrating leadership and the required interpersonal skills with other Training staff.\
• Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Nig.CARs, and that the requirements are met and maintained for the Flight Dispatcher Training courses approved for this organization
• Assisting the school with planning and scheduling of training courses.
• Actively assist in the school monitoring process and quality controls to ensure standards are met.
• The delivery of high-standard courses to Flight Dispatcher trainees, for which he/she is qualified
• Producing training course material, notes, electronic presentations, lesson plans, study guides and examinations as required, for the Flight Dispatcher’s Basic and advanced courses for which he/she is qualified.
• Assists the lead Instructor with proficiency drills training as required.
• Assists the Lead Instructor with Continuation Training as required.
• Works to the requirements and standards of the ATO and Training and Procedures Manual (TPM), and where necessary highlighting improvements to ensure they remain effective.
• Carry out examination invigilation duties and check marking where he/she is not actively involved in the instruction of that particular phase of examination. 

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess B.SC/HND in Science with a minimum of second class lower/lower credit
• Candidate must Hold a valid and current flight dispatchers or Pilot License
• Age must be between 24-30 years
• Candidate must possess a WAEC Certificate with a minimum of 5 Credits (Including Mathematics and English)
• Candidate must have completed NYSC Programme
• Candidate must have an NCAA Instructor Authorization.
• Candidates must be a qualified ground instructor
• Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a flight dispatcher
• Candidate must have a high level of Aeronautical knowledge in the subject areas of flight dispatcher certification
