Fleet Operations Manager Assistant
Job summary
The Fleet Operations Manager Assistant will support the Fleet Operations Manager in the day-to-day coordination, monitoring, and administration of SGX Mobility’s electric vehicle fleet. The role focuses on operational execution, reporting, driver coordination, fleet availability tracking, and inter-location support to ensure efficient fleet performance and service delivery.

Responsibilities:
Fleet Operations Support:
- Assist in the daily monitoring of fleet availability, deployment, and utilization.
- Support vehicle allocation across different locations based on operational needs.
- Ensure vehicles meet operational, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Assist in enforcing fleet usage and safety policies.
Logistics & Coordination:
- Support vehicle route, scheduling, and swapping between operational locations.
- Liaise with drivers, technicians, and operations teams to ensure smooth fleet movement.
- Assist in coordinating timely dispatch and retrieval of vehicles.
- Escalate operational issues to the Fleet Operations Manager promptly.
Fleet Monitoring & Reporting:
- Assist in tracking fleet performance using GPS, telematics, or internal logs.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, downtime, charging, and maintenance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Flag recurring issues that affect efficiency or availability.
Driver & Technician Coordination:
- Assist in managing driver schedules, attendance, and task assignments.
- Support onboarding and basic training coordination for drivers and field staff.
- Monitor driver compliance with operational and safety guidelines.
- Report driver misconduct, performance gaps, or incidents to management.
Maintenance & Asset Control:
- Support maintenance scheduling and follow up with technicians.
- Track vehicle breakdowns, repairs, and service completion.
- Ensure proper documentation of fleet assets and assigned equipment.
- Assist in recovery and redeployment of company assets when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Logistics, Transport Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in fleet operations, logistics, field operations, or similar roles.
- Basic understanding of fleet management and logistics operations.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work across multiple locations.
- Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
