Fleet Officer
Job summary
The Fleet Officer will be responsible for the effective management, maintenance, compliance, and safety of all the company's vehicles. The role ensures that fleet operations align with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and cost-effectiveness practices while maintaining high standards of safety and accountability.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Ensure vehicle documentation, including registration, licensing, insurance, and permits, is valid and distribute them to users.
- Ensure timely renewal of all vehicle papers and registration of new vehicles to prevent penalties or sanctions.
- Maintain an accurate record of incidents and claims history.
- Conduct quarterly inspection of all official vehicles to ensure roadworthiness compliance and maintain a record.
- Screen and assess drivers before onboarding to ensure competence and compliance.
- Address and resolve driver-related issues, including traffic offenses and disputes.
Requirements:
- HND/BSC in Transport Management, Logistics, Facilities Management, or any social science-related field.
- Good Knowledge of vehicle regulations and road safety standards.
- Certified Automotive Fleet Manager( CAFM/CAFS) will be an advantage.
