Job Summary

Performs supervisory duties in the implementation and management of a fleet operation in all fleet contracts; performs supervisory and technical work in vehicle and equipment mechanics as needed.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a standardized fleet with supplier and field to determine appropriate equipment/truck/trailer specifications and options
  • Monitors orders to completion. Works with suppliers on revised delivery dates and to expedite product shipments and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Research and update current specifications and quotes on the intranet Excel file.
  • Attends supplier/clients’ meetings as directed by management.
  • Identifies and documents cost-saving opportunities, such as researching different deals on asset leasing to obtain better package pricing.
  • Assist the purchasing department with vehicle specifications, orders, and vendor issues.

Vehicle Administration:

  • Manages the system to ensure data integrity within rentals and vendors.
  • Maintains and monitors vendor performance standards.
  • Process vehicle change forms from the Vehicle Fleet email box for location changes and driver changes.
  • Submit changes to the leasing company vendor.
  • Validates units billed on leasing invoices.
  • Contact the branch and clients on discrepancies and continue through to resolution.
  • Prepares leasing invoices for approvals and payment.
  • Administers vehicle title change processes.
  • Acts as liaison between clients in resolving issues and coordinating vehicle acquisitions, disposals, and services.
  • Prepares and submits expense allocation files to Fixed Assets.

  • Order Status
  • Requisition tool
  • Vehicle/Trailer specifications
  • Fuel Cards
  • Tracking and documentation
  • Licensing, Titling and Registrations
  • Vehicle Disposal
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Allocated expenses
  • Vehicle Leases
  • Resolves issues between suppliers and field locations
  • Responds to requests from inquiries from regions and corporate departments
  • Support other tasks as assigned.
  • Respond to departmental inbox email.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
