Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the production of fish feed.
- Operate and monitor fish feed production equipment.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery.
- Monitor machines during production to ensure smooth operation.
- Carry out basic preventive maintenance.
- Identify and report mechanical or electrical faults.
- Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs where qualified.
- Ensure production equipment is kept clean and properly maintained.
- Follow production procedures and safety regulations.
- Monitor the proper mixing, processing, and production of fish feed.
- Maintain basic production and machine-maintenance records.
- Ensure safe handling of machinery and production equipment.
Requirements:
- Practical mechanical or electrical skills.
- OND in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, OR
- Technical College qualification/certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Practical experience in a production or factory environment is required.
- Knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.
- Basic troubleshooting ability.
- Understanding of workplace and machinery safety.
- Ability to work in a factory/production environment.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to follow technical instructions.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and willingness to work in a production environment.
