Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and intellectually curious Financial & Investments Research Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial, economic, and market research to support investment decisions and strategic planning. The role involves gathering and interpreting data on companies, industries, and markets, building financial models, and producing actionable insights through detailed reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

·      Conduct in-depth research on financial markets, industries, and specific asset classes (equities, fixed income, commodities, derivatives and currencies) to identify and investment opportunities and risks

·      Analyze and develop reports on global macroeconomic trends, sector and company fundamentals, economic policies and outcomes, financial market regulations, capital market architecture and stakeholders etc.

·      Develop investment notes, market outlooks, and financial markets training materials for internal and external stakeholders

·      Support the development of investment and portfolio strategies through data-driven insights and risk-based scenario analysis

·      Build and maintain financial models to support valuation, forecasting, and risk assessment on various asset classes, companies or portfolios.

·      Track global economic developments, regulatory changes, and geopolitical events impacting financial markets

·      Collaborate with internal teams to support advisory mandates and client engagements

·      Present research findings and recommendations clearly to senior management and clients

Key Skills & Competencies

·      Strong analytical and quantitative skills

·      Financial modelling and valuation expertise

·      Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools

·      Solid understanding of financial markets and investment instruments

·      Detail-oriented approach to research

·      Ability to interpret large datasets and identify trends

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·      Strong presentation and reporting capabilities

·      Critical thinking and problem-solving ability

Qualifications / Requirements

·      Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field

·      Experience in financial research, investment analysis, or a related role

·      Solid understanding of financial markets, instruments, and valuation techniques

·      Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills

·      Proficiency in financial software, databases, and tools

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·      Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

·      Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data
