Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, financial policies, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and maintain general ledger accounts, budgets, and cash flow.
- Handle tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support internal controls, risk management, and compliance processes.
- Oversee payroll processing, vendor payments, and expense management.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years accounting experience in an SEC-regulated company.
- Strong understanding of SEC compliance, financial regulations, and corporate governance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
