Finance Reporting Officer

Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports.
  
• Produce P&L reports, balance-sheet schedules, cash-flow reports and financial analysis.
  
• Track business performance across products, partners, countries, payment channels and revenue lines.
  
• Analyse transaction volumes, revenue, fees, commissions, margins and operating expenses.
  
• Monitor revenue and profitability by product, partner, merchant, channel and corridor.
  
• Support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting and variance analysis.
  
• Review bank, partner, merchant, wallet and settlement reconciliations; investigate discrepancies.
  
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards and presentations for the CEO, CFO and Management.
  
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis for strategic and commercial decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline.
  
• 3-5 years of relevant finance, financial reporting, management accounting or financial analysis experience.
  
• Prior experience in a fintech, payment company, remittance company, bank, microfinance bank or similar transaction-based business strongly preferred.
  
• Strong understanding of financial statements, management reporting and financial controls.
  
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI and SQL knowledge an advantage.
  
• Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or progress toward one is an advantage.
  
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, integrity and ability to work under pressure.
