Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, laws, and internal policies.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Coordinate and support external audits.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's financial strategy.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and capital expenditures.
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize financial risk and maximize profitability.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of finance and accounting staff.
  • Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and professional development.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA).
  • 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Expert-level knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency with financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
