Finance Officer
Job summary
The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day financial transactions, records and reporting. The role will ensure accurate bookkeeping, proper cash management, timely reconciliation and effective financial controls across the business.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions, receipts, payments, and expense records.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and supporting documentation.
- Monitor cash flow, collections, payments and outstanding receivables.
- Perform regular bank, cash and account reconciliations.
- Monitor income and expenses against approved budgets and identify variances.
- Process invoices, payments, petty cash and other financial documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation and approval of all company expenses.
- Support payroll preparation and statutory remittances where required.
- Maintain proper financial records for audit and tax purposes.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and applicable accounting standards.
Requirements:
- First Degree in Accounting, Economics, Banking & Finance or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Experience working with an international organization.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN/ACCA will be an advantage.
- Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in a service, automotive, retail, or similar business environment will be an advantage.
