Role Description

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Process accounts payable and receivable

Monitor bank transactions and reconcile bank statements

Support in budgeting and forecasting process

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies

Assist in internal and external audits

Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing of tax and statutory obligations

Analyze financial data and provide insights to Finance Manager

Contribute to financial risk management strategies

Qualifications

• Strong finance and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and support sound financial decisions.
• Competence in preparing and reviewing financial statements and financial reporting in a structured, compliant manner.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with program teams, management, and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• Relevant academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an advantage.
• Experience working with nonprofit or project-based funding environments is beneficial.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work independently in an on-site, field-based setting.
