Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the organization.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of management accounts.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, receivables, and payables.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, production costs, inventory valuation, and cost controls.

• Ensure proper financial controls and accounting procedures are maintained.

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate external and internal audits.
• Monitor financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Review financial transactions and ensure proper documentation and authorization.
• Provide financial analysis to support business and investment decisions.

• Work closely with operations, procurement, production, and other departments to improve cost efficiency.

Requirements:

• BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• ACA/ICAN qualification is mandatory.
• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience working in a manufacturing industry is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial controls.
• Good understanding of Nigerian tax and statutory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
