Finance Manager
Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of a growing real estate company. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cash flow management, regulatory compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and controls to support business objectives.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure smooth business operations.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance indicators.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Monitor project finances, construction budgets, and real estate investment performance.
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including tax filings, VAT, PAYE, WHT, pension, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on cost reduction and revenue optimization.
- Prepare feasibility studies and financial models for real estate development projects.
- Monitor and manage company assets, investments, and financial risks.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members to improve efficiency and performance.
- Ensure proper maintenance of financial records and documentation.
- Support management with financial insights for strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- Professional certification, such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent, is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Prior experience in the Real Estate, Construction, Property Development, or Infrastructure sector is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and Nigerian tax regulations.
- Candidates with experience managing finances for real estate development projects, property management firms, or construction companies will have a distinct advantage.
