Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping,
- accounts
- payable/receivable, and cash flow management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and
- management reporting for leadership.
- Build financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
- Establish financial controls, policies, and SOPs to ensure accuracy and compliance as the company scales.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and other external financial partners.
- Support fundraising efforts with financial data, projections, and investor reporting as needed.
- Evaluate and implement finance systems/tools to improve efficiency (accounting software, ERP, expense management).
- Build and lead a finance team as the business grows.
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A, ideally including some experience in a
- startup or high-growth environment.
- MBA preferred; Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- Strong command of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
- Experience building finance processes and infrastructure from scratch or significantly overhauling them.
- Proficiency with accounting/finance software and advanced Excel/spreadsheet modeling.
Nice to have:
- CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience supporting a fundraising round or investor reporting process.
