Field Services Technician (Instrument/Electrical)

The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of Field Instrumentation Installation & Maintenance services, Electrical installations, Calibration of Field Instrument and very skilled in using testing & calibration tools.

Responsibilities

• Installation, Maintenance & Calibration:
• Install, configure, and maintain instrumentation systems and equipment, including sensors, controllers, and data acquisition systems.
• Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and prevent failures.
• Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability in data gathering and process control.

• Troubleshooting and Repair:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components and equipment.
• Make emergency repairs as needed.

• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and calibrations.
• Prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of HND, B.Eng, Electrical Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering and other relevant degree. Degree from a Technical School is an added advantage.
• 6-9+ years working experience
• ISA Certified Control System Technician (CCST) Certification is a major plus
• Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering background is required
• Ability to collaborate with different teams, utilize superior influencing skills, and demonstrate strong senior-level communication abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding work planning, delegation & presentation skills
